Sipcam Oxon, italian group leader in the agropharmaceutical sector, opens, in the second semester of 2020, a new business location in Chile, Paraguay, Russia and Thailand.
The company says it is ready to face epochal challenges of agrochemical sector in the next years, also considering the Covid emergency.
Precisely because of the recent crisis caused by Covid 19, agriculture will have to increase the amount of food in sufficient quantity for everyone in compliance with the qualitative parameters imposed by the market; the need to develop sustainable products will increase, which will be fewer due to regulatory restrictions.
The Italian group doesn’t fear the comparison with the new challenges: the ability to manage resistances, digital agriculture, the growth of mergers and acquisitions in a highly concentrated sector. But also, the vertical integration of Chinese producers, the instability of Latin American countries and climate changes.
In order not to be caught unprepared by this scenario, Sipcam Oxon states its strategy, which, among many things, includes: sustainable and innovative solutions, extending its presence in new markets such as Chile, Paraguay, Russia and Thailand.
